Goal: Promote the integration of sustainable food systems and agriculture into landscape planning and design, enhancing food security and community health.

Director - Carlos Jankilevich

Carlos Jankilevich is a recognized scholar and practitioner specializing in landscape architecture, environmental planning, and urban design. Particularly interested in biodiversity, ecological regeneration, and cultural landscapes, he has led important initiatives on these topics, both as a member of the International Scientific Committee ICOMOS-IFLA as well as former IFLA Americas President and current Commissioner for Central America and the Caribbean. Carlos is also a founding member of the Latin American Landscape Initiative (LALI) and co-author of the Latin American Landscape Charter.

 

Co-director - Joshua Zounet

Shulin Shi currently works at the department of Landscape Architecture, School of Architecture Tsinghua University, Beijing PRC. Her research areas include health promoting landscape planning and design, landscape for the elderly, landscape for active living, quantitative social research, and qualitative social research. She has a PhD in division of Landscape Architecture from the University of Hong Kong.
