PAMELA PAGANA

With over 9 years of experience in landscape architecture practice, L. Archt. Pamela Sarunya Pagana, has contributed well enough in the development and promotion of the profession through involvement in programs, advocacies, and events in the Philippines.

Pamela received her Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of the Philippines- Diliman. She now works in ALVEO Land Corp, one of the residential business groups of Ayala Land, Inc., the leading real estate developer in the Philippines. She is responsible for handling in-house landscape designs and planning up to the implementation. She is also one of the founders and consultant of a landscape design and build company Reverte Manila.

Aside from her current work, she has been an active PALA Member and part of the Board of Officers since 2016. She became the 2021 National President and incumbent Head of the Professional Practice Committee of the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects (PALA). Some of her initiatives was to develop the Philippine Landscape Design Standards which are set to be published this year and the Memorandum of Understanding with the Landscape Contractors and Industry Specialists of the Philippines (LACISAP). She is also a Certified BERDE professional since 2021.

I am committed to advancing inclusive, resilient, and sustainable urban development across Egypt and the MENA region..

Master in Landscape Architecture – Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Chile.
Diploma in BIM Modeling and Coordination – Universidad de Chile, Chile.

Architect based in Chile, with professional expertise in green areas and public space projects associated with road infrastructure of varying scales, as well as parks and gardens in residential and institutional developments.

My primary focus is on the implementation of BIM methodology in landscape projects, with extensive experience managing various software and collaborative cloud environments within this workflow.

Active instructor of diverse courses and workshops focused on the application of BIM methodology in landscape architecture.

In the research field, my main interest lies in the representation and mapping of landscapes affected by natural and/or anthropogenic disasters, addressing the different territorial and geographical scales that define an environment.

Armin is head of the Committee on Professional Practice and Policy at the IFLA Middle East region. In 2016, he was elected as a Board of Directors member at the Iranian Society of Landscape Professionals-ISLAP where he is serving as the Executive Director and IFLA delegate.

He is an environmental designer and received his M.S. degree from the University of Tehran in 2010. He is a freelance consultant based in Karaj, Iran, and the owner of the Bagh-e-Honar construction projects. As a senior registered member of the Iranian Construction Engineering Organization, Armin has more than 15 years of experience in supervising and managing a wide variety of development projects. In recent years, he has actively participated in organizing professional and scientific events with a focus on production landscapes, and dynamic conservation of agricultural heritage systems. Armin is a member of the International Scientific Committee on Cultural Landscapes-ISC CL and IFLA Working Group on Agriculture and Landscape. As an international, certified tourism practitioner he is involved in professional tourism activities especially those related to cultural landscape and garden tourism. He is also the founder and director of the TREE of LIFE landscape webinar series.
