Lithuanian Association of Landscape Architects (LALA) (LKAS)
Lithuanian Landscape Architects' Union, LKAS encourages and promotes the work of its members, organizes exhibitions (the first - works of Lithuanian landscape architects - organized in 2000 in Vilnius), competitions, seminars, study tours. LKAS together with Latvian and Estonian colleagues October 7-13. hosted the XXXIX World IFLA Congress in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. LKAS together with Lithuanian universities and other social partners in 2005, 2010, 2013 organized conferences and landscape architecture forums, actively contributes to the organization of other conferences (eg in Klaipeda since 2004 "Urban greenery formation"). LKAS publishes a continuous publication The News of the Lithuanian Association of Landscape Architects (96 issues published by fall 2015; also available online).
