The Austrian Society for Landscape Architecture (ÖGLA) is the association of landscape architects and planners in Austria. The interests of all professionals (self-employed, dependent, public servants, scientists, students) are at the forefront of the association's activities. The ÖGLA represents all areas of activity that are executed under the umbrella term landscape architecture. It supports and represents all members equally, regardless of training path, focus of activity, authority and representation of authority (ZT, WK) or the form of employment (self-employed, employed).

The ÖGLA also has a social mission and assumes responsibility for the communication and exchange of knowledge and information about the content of landscape architecture (as a collective term for all aspects of the profession). In addition to its role as a professional association, the importance of the association lies in its role as an information, knowledge and discussion platform. The ÖGLA is a lively association that stands for the exchange of experiences, partnerships, networks and contacts. In addition to the relevance for members, the association should also be available to all interested parties as an information platform. The communication methods are up-to-date, event-related, tailored to target groups and barrier-free.
