IFLA Nominations Committee
Election of all positions
The IFLA Constitution and Bylaws adopted at the 2026 Virtual World Council establish a new Nominating Committee responsible for identifying, vetting, and presenting a slate of qualified candidates for the IFLA Board of Directors to the World Council for endorsement and appointment.
IFLA is now holding elections for the following positions on the Nominating Committee.
Regional Representative — IFLA Africa - 1 position
Regional Representative — IFLA Americas - 1 position
Regional Representative — IFLA Asia-Pacific - 1 position
Regional Representative — IFLA Europe - 1 position
Regional Representative — IFLA Middle East - 1 position
External Member (non-IFLA) - up to 3 positions
Elections will open 22nd May 2026 and close 9th June 2026. All eligible IFLA Members will be emailed directly with details of how to vote.
